Olaf Zwickau is President of Air Solutions & Balancing, LLC, established in 2002.  Olaf has over 25 years of experience in the commercial air ventilation industry.  His specific technical expertise includes TAB (Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing) in the commercial HVAC industry, demand control kitchen ventilation technology to obtain energy savings for the commercial kitchen hood market and HVAC Building Commissioning.

Olaf graduated from Bradley University with a B.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering.  After working for a large commercial kitchen hood manufacturer and gaining testing, adjusting and balancing experience, he earned his air balancing certification through the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) in 1996.  Olaf co-founded Air Solutions Engineering, Inc. located in Cincinnati, Ohio to build a successful kitchen hood representative firm and air balancing company.  In 2002, Olaf moved to New Hampshire and started Air Solutions & Balancing, LLC, with an emphasis on the air balancing industry, as well as kitchen hood sales and demand control kitchen ventilation.  Over the years, Olaf has earned his Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credential, as well as being NEBB certified in HVAC systems commissioning.

Olaf is actively involved with various roles in the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce including being a member of the education leadership committee, serves as the current President of the NEBB Northeast EBB Chapter, an active member of the Marketing Board for the NEBB organization, past Vice President of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE), a former adjunct instructor and current board member at a New Hampshire Community College, in support of their heating, ventilation and air conditioning program.  He is also a member of the Bedford Men’s Club, an organization dedicated to philanthropic works within the community.

When not working, or engaged with family or friends, Olaf enjoys a variety of recreational pursuits, including enjoying the great outdoors, mountain and road biking, as well as his passion for cars by rebuilding an old jeep. His biggest annual philanthropic contribution, The Pan-Mass Challenge, is a cancer fund raiser for the Dana Farber Institute which constitutes of a 200-mile bike ride.

Sheila has been a member of our team since June 2011.  As our Chief Financial Officer she manages all accounting and financial responsibilities for Air Solutions & Balancing and its’ business divisions.  She also holds a key role in our financial planning, budgeting and long range forecasting.  Sheila brings over 30 years of experience in construction finances and related administrative functions.

When away from work, Sheila enjoys spending time with her family in addition to gardening, traveling, reading and being outdoors.

Lisa joined Air Solutions & Balancing in November of 2015.  She brings with her over 15 years of construction accounting experience. Lisa is primarily responsible for payroll, certified payroll and accounts payable.  In addition to her accounting responsibilities, Lisa serves as our Human Resources representative and a member of our Safety Committee.

During her free time, Lisa enjoys being outdoors kayaking and spending time supporting her kids at their athletic activities and school events.

Her responsibilities include supporting the President on various projects while managing different office operational areas of the business such as recruitment and onboarding, marketing, facilities management, and corporate event coordination.

Relocating to New Hampshire a few years ago, Marie enjoys spending her free time exploring and participating in all seasonal activities New England offers.

In May of 2015, Peter decided to make a career change and support his son’s company as Air Solutions & Balancing’s Safety Officer and Quality Assurance Manager. He is responsible for the corporate safety program. Additionally, Peter is responsible for the coordination and management of all capital and equipment purchases.

Peter has two graduate degrees in mechanical and electrical engineering, and a sound foundation for understanding and solving the many problems associated with the safety, operation and maintenance of companies. He started his career in Germany, then relocated to the United States in 1981 and built an amazing and impressive career traveling internationally.

When not working, Peter enjoys the beautiful Florida weather playing tennis.

Kane joined Air Solutions & Balancing in 2013 as a Field Technician. His problem solving skills and excellent customer service led him to become a Project Manager within one year of joining the company. Since that time, he has excelled in his duties of project research, reporting, site visits, client relations, and oversight of technicians promoting him to Senior Project Manager.

In his free time, Kane enjoys surfing, snowboarding, boating, riding his motorcycle, and any outdoor activity with friends and family.

His exceptional technical abilities and customer service skills quickly led him to a promotion as Project Manager and now Senior Project Manager. In addition to working closely with the technicians, Colby continues to enjoy client relations, technician project scheduling, traveling to customer sites and serves as a key liaison for timely and accurate report coordination.

Addison rejoined Air Solutions in 2016 as a Project Manager with our growing TAB New England division. He originally started his career with us in 2012 as a TAB Field Technician and took a short break with an opportunity as a construction site supervisor. His successes are a direct result of his abilities as a decisive problem solver, effective communicator, and an exceptional team liaison having an understanding of active field work and project management experience.

Jeremy came to Air Solutions & Balancing back in 2012 with three years of onsite construction experience as a Field Service Engineer at Phoenix Controls. He obtained his Electronic Engineering Technology degree from Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts. Jeremy’s primary responsibility is to oversee the estimating process, client relations and work closely with the operations team for all TAB New England regional projects.

As Jeremy is an extreme outdoor enthusiast, during his free time you will find him surfing the Atlantic in the morning before work, and snowboarding, mountain-biking or hiking the many NH trails with his dog after work and on weekends.

Trish has been working in the TAB industry for over 11 years.  She joined the company in 2011 with an initial focus on administrative and estimating responsibilities.  Over the years, her extensive knowledge of TAB estimating, client relations and proven exceptional dedication to our customers and business, she received a promotion to a management position with additional responsibilities to oversee the Texas Regional office project management team.

Outside of work, Trish enjoys spending time with her two grown sons, off roading in the country, cooking and baking in the kitchen and relaxing along the water with a fishing pole.

Steve joined USA Balancing in early 2016 bringing over 20 years of HVAC field experience, specifically in testing and balancing. Over the years he developed a specialized skillset working with 60+ national accounts responsible for customer satisfaction of national chain restaurants, retail, and supermarket locations for both HVAC and commissioning solutions.  Steve received his HVAC Journeyman’s license in 2000 in conjunction with his EPA Refrigeration Certification License. Steve is also an active member of Restaurant Facilities Management Association (RFMA) and Professional Retail Store Maintenance (PRSM).

Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his daughter, keeps active with Crossfit and volunteers for Adore-A-Bull animal rescue.

Cameron earned his Bachelors of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and continued his education becoming a Certified Energy Auditor. He leads the Kitchen Energy Solutions division as the Sales Engineer and Project Manager specializing in demand control kitchen ventilation systems technology. His attention to detail, problem solving, and design knowledge of this energy savings measure have made for excellent customer service and satisfaction from the start of the sale to project completion.

Brian is responsible for our Colorado Regional Office based in Denver.  He has worked in the field of Building Environment Systems for over 25 years.  His HVAC experience involves multiple aspects of the industry, to include installation, maintenance, TAB and Commissioning.  Over the years he received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas Arlington, became a NEBB Certified Professional in HVAC and Plumbing Commissioning, Air & Hydronics and Sound & Vibration. Additionally, he is a LEED Certified AP – Existing Buildings and Level 1 Snell Thermography certified. Projects have been performed throughout the US and Middle East.  Brian’s primary focus is on regional office operations and assisting with TAB techinician training across the organization.

When he is not working in the office or on TAB field projects, he enjoys spending time outside hiking or mountain biking Colorado’s Crested Butte or time on the golf course.

William has been in the industry since 2009 and started his career as a technician working a variety of projects ranging from retail stores to large research facilities. In 2011 William became a NEBB Certified TAB Technician and in 2017 he became a NEBB Certified Professional in Fume Hood Performance Testing, and Test and Balance.  Over the years he transitioned into a management role assisting with the Texas office operations and customer relations from estimating, recruiting and training both administrative support team and TAB technicians.

Outside of work, Will enjoys spending time with wife and his young family, soccer, snowboarding, and electronics such as drones.
