Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC)
The Pan-Mass Challenge raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through an annual bike-a-thon that crosses Massachusetts. Since its founding in 1980, the PMC has successfully melded support from committed cyclists, volunteers, corporate sponsors and individual contributors. PMC’s hope and aspiration is to provide Dana-Farber’s doctors and researchers with the necessary resources to discover cures for all cancers.
Mission 22 is dedicated to healing America’s veterans when they need it most – right now. They offer treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress and Traumatic Brain Injury, substance abuse and all the issues veterans are facing today.
Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy, or FSHD, is a genetic disorder that leads to the weakening of skeletal muscles. Typically beginning in early teenage years with the loss of muscles in the face (facio), shoulders (scapula), upper arms (humerus), legs or core, FSHD can spread to any muscle. Around 20 percent will need a wheelchair by age 50. Over 70 percent experience debilitating pain and fatigue. There is no effective treatment or cure—but there is hope.

The CHADD organization believes in improving the lives of people affected by ADHD. CHADD was founded in 1987 in response to the frustration and sense of isolation experienced by parents and their children with ADHD.
